  • Ear - Nose - Throat and anti-inflammatory

    INDICATIONS:
    ALIRICIN is a lozenges used to treat topical cases such as:
    Pharyngitis, Amydan inflammation, stomatitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis, glossitis, gingivitis, periodontitis etc.

    DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
    – Dosage: 1-2 tablets per time, may be repeated several times a day.
    – How to use: Dissolve the tablet slowly in the mouth, about 2-3 hours apart.
    Should continue treatment for 1 more day after the symptoms have improved.

    CONTRAINDICATIONS:
    – Hypersensitivity to any components of the drug.
    – Infants and children under 5 years old (due to inappropriate dosage form).

    WARNING AND PRECAUTIONS:
    – During treatment of sore throat with this medicine if you see any symptoms such as fever, sputum discharge, you must see a doctor because antibiotics may need to be accompanied.
    – Should not use lozenges when detected a new injury, relatively wide in the pharynx cavity.
    – In case of purulent tonsillitis accompanied by fever, the doctor should consider whether to use this lozenge in combination with systemic antibiotic treatment.
    – The drug does not contain sugar, so it can be used for people with diabetes.
    – The drug contains sorbitol, used with caution for people with intolerance to Sorbitol or hereditary fructose.

    INTERACTIONS:
    There have been no reports of drug interactions.

    PREGNANCY AND LACTATION:
    Do not use for pregnant or lactating women unless absolutely necessary according to a doctor’s instructions.

    EFFECTS OF DRUGS ON THE ABILITY TO DRIVE AND OPERATE MACHINERY:
    The drug has no effect on the ability to drive and operate machinery.

    OVERDOSE:
    There have been no reports of overdose. In theory, swallowing large amounts of lozenges can cause digestive symptoms and increased blood methemoglobin production (especially in children). Management: Gastric lavage is required if necessary or activated charcoal is used to reduce drug absorption and medications to treat hyperemesis hemoglobin.

    ADVERSE EFFECTS:
    – With the therapeutic dose mentioned above, the drug is usually well tolerated, causing no toxicity.
    – Rarely allergic reactions on the skin due to hypersensitivity to Benzocaine, then the drug should be discontinued.
    – Benzocaine can lead to an increase in Methemoglobin in the blood when swallowed with a large number of tablets
    – Because drugs containing Sorbitol can cause abdominal pain or diarrhea in some people intolerance.
    Inform your doctor unwanted effects encountered when using the drug.

    STORAGE:
    Store in temperature not exceeding 300C, protect from moisture.

    SHELF LIFE:
    24 months from date of manufacture.
